Elizabeth Pellerin

Hello, my name is Miss Pellerin

Miss Pellerin began playing piano when she was seven years old. She played clarinet in band starting in fifth grade and continued until eighth grade. Her junior high band director was actually, Mr Pastor, a former band director in Coolidge at McCray Middle School. His last year in Coolidge he had over 100 beginners.

During High School, she committed her time to playing piano in the jazz band throughout high school. She continued playing piano in the jazz band and percussion in the concert band at Mesa Community College. In 2010, she received her Associate’s degree in the Arts with high distinction and took time away from school to decide which career to pursue. After four years of working in banking, she decided to pursue a career in music. In December 2015, Miss Pellerin graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Ottawa University

After a year of teaching band at West Elementary and Heartland Ranch Elementary, she is very optimistic of the future band program in Coolidge. Over 150 students have signed up for band and all are very enthusiastic about showing up and practicing. Let's keep encouraging this awesome enthusiasm and make the CUSD band great again!
